While many Americans were rushing hurriedly from one big box store to another, searching for that must have piece of electronics or battery operated game for the kiddies, the Kazmar Klan made its way to lovely Glen Ellen in Sonoma County. Bill and Joan Kazmar bid on a bottle of wine and won a personal tour of GlenLyon Winery, a small production vineyard that makes one of the best Syrahs in Northern California. Former actor and one time TV Ronald McDonald, winemaker Squire Fridell, was our host for a three hour tour and tasting at his lovely farm set in the rolling hills of Glen Ellen.
